“ So delicious!! Got some items from the HH menu, the $1 oysters, popcorn chicken and crispy tofu. Also from the regular menu, tried the creamy kimchi shrimp udon & tiger roll - amazing!! Service was great so friendly and attentive, gets pretty busy so recommend a reservation, I really enjoyed the food & reasonably priced, so I will be back again! ”
“ This place is great for small parties but if you call ahead and make a reservation they could possibly accommodate larger groups (6-8 people). We called ahead for a table for 3 and when we arrived we didn't wait long. They even had a booster seat for our toddler. We started off with the truffle fries, calamari + nuts, and lychee martini. All were so yummy. We had the creamy kimchi udon and the fisherman's soup. It was full of flavor. We will definitely return. The servers were so nice and helpful. Our daughter loved the food as well! ”
“ Absolutely loved this spot, stumbled upon it on Yelp and had to try it. Highly recommend going for happy hour, the deals are just too good to pass up! We went during Halloween and they had the whole place decorated with the theme which was super cute. They played awesome music the whole time which is always a plus for every meal. The bento boxes on the lunch menu are HUGE, and we ended up staying long enough into happy hour where we got drink deals and even more food deals. They have $1 oysters which I am always on the hunt for!! Everything we ordered was amazing: - Uni Bibimbap Combo Set - Creamy Kimchi Shrimp Udon Combo Set - Chicken Wings - Truffle Fries - Potato Croquette Service was great, super friendly and the food came out so fast. We had such a great experience and would definitely come back with more friends :) ”
“ I had a delightful experience here. My server greeted us at the door and was super friendly, we were sat right away and were 20 minutes early to the reservation. Great place for a quick and relaxed bite as service is fast as well. The chicken wings are amazing! Super crispy outside soft on the inside. I love a soy garlic chicken wing so got those but also got citron. I was unexpectedly blown away by the citron flavor and liked it better than the soy garlic but both were very good. Got an appetizer with rice cakes cheese and truffle which was also tasty. ”
“ Fun Korean fusion in Korea town. A beautiful little shop with cute decor and a fun vibe. The sashimi trio had fun flavors and beautiful plating, but I wish the fish would have tasted fresher. The Drunken Tiger Cocktail was a little on the juicy side and could have been served colder. But the flavors were great. The Braided Pork Belly is where the we were impressed. It's delivered on a sizzling Cast Iron Bowl that stays heated. It was like when the table next to you orders fajitas and you change your order. The sauce was a fascinating pairing. I would return because of this dish. ”
“ Came here for girl dinnerrr on an early friday night. We ate at the second floor which was nice and quiet, I thought the decor was really cute lol. I ordered two drinks-the cucumber tonic and the yuzu blossom. They were both good drinks, nothing amazing but were tasty. They have a happy hour special for oysters everyday from 4-7 PM, $1 per oyster. I am a sucker for an oyster deal so was really happy about this. For my main I got the creamy kimchi udon which was so decadent and yummy! You can adjust the spice level but I got it spicy which helps to cut the creaminess of it. It was a good portion too so I could take half to enjoy for leftovers :) My friends got the open roll trio set which is a great deal for $20! This was a great casual place for dinner that I'll be returning to when I'm next in KTown! ”
“ I can't express how delicious this dinner was and that was after a day with a full lunch. Kimchi Udon pasta was worth the two lactaid pills lol. Cheese rice cake was double whammy. Highly recommend the pork belly. Somehow still had room for dessert - the cheese cake is delectable. I wish I have time to take more pics but I'm too busy eating the place is cute and service is impeccable. We stayed until closing and they're so nice to us. Would 10/10 come back here ”
“ We stumbled upon Barn Joo's 3rd location in the city today after the gym. We were delighted to discover that they have a happy hour daily from 4-6 pm, and $1 oysters from 4-7 pm. We opted to sit at the bar, and our bartender, Jesse, was very attentive. The happy hour cocktail menu here was slightly different from the one at the Union Square location. I ordered my usual beeline, while my partner went for the lychee martini. Both drinks were delicious, but the lychee martini was on the sweeter side. We also decided to take advantage of the happy hour food menu and ordered the popcorn chicken and crunchy tofu. Both dishes were incredibly tasty. As for the oysters, they were fresh but slightly smaller in size. The first floor of the restaurant had plenty of seating, with additional seating available on the second floor. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant. ”
“ Another great meal at Barn Joo in Nomad! This Korean Pub has really become our go to when in Nomad. They consistently serve up great food and drinks in a great location at the corner of 28th and 6th Ave. Korean pub dishes we love include Tteok + Cheese (rice cake, corn, olives in a bowl of melted cheeses), Korean hot & spicy wings (must try) and Spicy Tuna "open roll" (sort of like tuna tartare wrapped in a single seaweed sheet). It's all good! Highly recommend! ”
